Fast, friendly, and expedient staff of professionals. The manager, Rob, takes the time to explain what your vehicle needs are and why. I met one of the mechanics, Nick, and he also takes the time to explain. I am a new client to them and now I won't go anywhere else.
Example 2: Last year, I needed to have my starter replaced. I told Jensen I needed a new starter, but they were convinced it was something else (i.e. alternator). Several hundred dollars later, my car still had starter problems.
This review is long overdue. My family used Jensen for many years. Generally speaking, the honesty and quality of work from the CB establishment was egregiously poor. My family's vehicles were virtually never fixed, but always in need of some new repair. Here are some examples. Why my parents routinely returned to them for so long is beyond me. I personally encountered a couple egregious examples of lies and swindle on behalf of Jensen when I was in town, but given my parents know nothing about cars and still live in CB, I estimate they jacked thousands of dollars from them. It is possible the CB location is under new management from a year ago (I hope so), but I could never recommend those Jensen clowns to anyone.
Example 3: Also last year, I needed a new rear wheel bearing. I went ahead and approved the repair of my wheel bearing. Upon picking the car up, I noticed the ABS light was on and every time I came to a stop, the ABS activated. After getting 2 outside opinions on what Jensen did to my car, the mechanics told me whoever did my wheel bearing bent the ABS sensor so it was no longer properly aligned and was therefore constantly activating upon stopping. I brought it back to Jensen and told them what they did and that it needed to be fixed. They call me back and tell me I need my entire rear brake system redone (rotors, etc.) and that my brake lines were collapsed -no mention of the ABS sensor; they gave me a $900 estimate for this lie. I immediately went back down to Jensen to pick my car up before they broke something else. While another mechanic was putting my tires back on so I could leave, the manager and the mechanic that broke my ABS sensor were staring at me, smoking and giggling to themselves.
They were able to get the part right away and fix it.
Very nice and friendly service
The staff here went above and beyond! Would highly recommend!
Example 1: My dad had tire work done at Jensen, but they forgot to replace all the lug nuts. His tire flew off while driving to work later that week -fortunately he barreled into the ditch and wasn't injured. The AAA tow man confirmed that the mechanic had simply forgotten to replace all the lug nuts.
had a nail i️n my tire, they said it would be around $30 and i️ was expecting to wait an hour or more... got out i️n around a half hour with no charge! they were very informative, friendly and efficient. will definitely be coming back.
My check engine light had been on and not turned off the last three days because it’s been so cold. They were able to test the sensors and diagnose what was wrong.
I will definitely come back.
