Great fishing with many different varieties of fish, camping available. Not the best people around the area though
My wife and i often visit the lake and enjoy the natural settings and wildlife, however the last few years the park has become run down and the damage being done by the younger people is rapidly become dangerous for people just to visit for a day at the park. It would be nice to see DNR take a more positive stand and get our parks back for those who are there to enjoy it not turn it into a place exchange drugs and misuse.
A cool place to enjoy a good sized lake, fishing, swimming, public restrooms on both sides, a big playground area and toy rentals. FUN, FUN, FUN! ~KK~
Finding Lake Manawa was a pleasant surprise for my family. We spent an afternoon at the playground and Lake. We rented inner tubes, played in the sand and went to the snack shack. Its a little old and busted but that didn’t really matter, we had a great time.
Nice park. Boating, fishing, trails, a beach, and a huge play ground. The play ground is a little run down, but they are currently looking to revitalize and expand it. Unfortunately, there is not camping any longer.
