My sister recently went here to get a dog with her boyfriend. They put a down payment of one-fifth of the money on a puppy, to find out a two days later they had sold that puppy. Upsetting, but they picked a new one. When they brought her home she had a terrible cough and even vomited a few times. They brought her to the Bird Cage and they said she had kennel cough. All they did was give them their vet info and said they would pay for it. They went to the vet to find out that it was a not treatable cold and The vet gave her amoxicillin to prevent pneumonia . She is now finished with the bottle and is coughing worse than she was before. My sister and her boyfriend are now going to take Her to a new vet. At this point I wouldn't advise getting any animal from this store.

Do not support this business. Every single fish tank had a dead fish. There were 20 birds all packed into a single cage. Even worse the dogs in the back, isolated from people were stuck in metal cages with metal grate bottoms with no food or water or blankets. They had 2 dogs in one small cage and the cages had nothing, literally nothing, they walked and slept in a metal grate with out a single toy or blanket or water. They had the audacity to charge almost 1000$ for these poor animals with no chance of being bought. Shame on this company. Do the animals a favor and close your doors forever you monsters.

Bird Cage is by far the worst pet store I've ever been too. The place stinks 24/7. Their puppies smell horrible and are not given proper shots and care. Their birds are put into crowded cages. Their kittens are always looking sickly. And to make things worse, their rats are stuffed into tiny, tiny aquariums. I went and visited on 7/27/2017 and I found several mama rats with large numbers of babies in with the other rats and other male rats. There was also a dead baby rat and a dying baby rat. The people there do not care their animals at all. The rats are of breeding age and are put in with both genders. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I bought a Siberian Husky puppy here 5-1/2 years ago. Conditions were not filthy, but not too clean either...should have known better, and that their dogs come from puppy mills most likely, but fell in love with my dog instantly. I took him to see my own vet, at my expense, because I trust her. He had parasites and needed to be on pills several times (at least 5x before the age of 1 year). This was a long process of medications, the poor puppy having diarrhea all the time, and having to cook him boiled chicken and rice, trying to keep weight on him. After that first year, all was good until he was about to turn 4, when he developed epileptic seizures, which after great worry and expense, are now controlled with medication. His epilepsy is likely due to poor breeding standards, which makes sense if, as I suspect, the dogs from this store come from puppy mills. I will never shop in this store again for anything because I do not want to support this place and their practices, and I feel sorry for all of the poor animals under their "care".

I got a bird from here and she was tame in two days great quality the employees are nice, however they could put their birds inseperate flight cages rather than all of each species in one that way the birds don't get liver disease and also very great quality but they could work on prices a bit (all birds are way too expensive I could get a bird for $100 that they are selling for $699.99
