I went to Pizza ranch for an AARP event. Choices on their buffet are very limited since I am sensitive to wheat (gluten). They have gluten free puzza to be ordered separately.
The food meaning mostly the regular pizzas was maybe a three-star at best, but the desert was a 4. However I'm going to rated a 5 because the service of one particular cashier that worked last night. Her customer service and kind heart are what will keep me coming back to this place. Hopefully they see what a valuable employee they have. She more than accommodated me and my five children as well as their dad and that is not exactly an easy thing to do and most people would not have the patience for such a thing. She was very kind, considerate and well-mannered. She was also very skilled at multitasking and knowledgeable in her job. She maintained a clean place for us and was seemingly doing everything as I didn't see very many other employees. I think they were all in the kitchen? Also that might not have been the norm for other employees not to be out in the open because there was a diabetic event going on for a fundraiser on the night we just happen to come in and they were busing the tables for tips. I tipped them as well as went out of my way where are the kind-hearted cashier. I only wish I had had more to give her.
Good place to avoid. Staff made us feel like an inconvenience for being there during the time frame the buffet is closed (2-4 pm). Ordered cheese bread as a starter, got garlic toast instead and at the same time as the pizza....wouldn't really call that a "starter". Asked for drinks with our order, got an eye roll when going back up to the front to ask for cups again cause they were not given initially. Restaurant was a mess, had to clean off our own table so we could eat there. Too many other options for food in that area to deal with bad customer service, won't be back.
Other diners said that the fried chicken was great. Their salad bar was OK.
Terrible delivery service. Over cooked chicken. Over an hour for delivery of cold food and charges 25cents for condiments they forget to include and this is consistent with every delivery. Great food when dining there otherwise forget about it.
I've dined at several Pizza Ranches across this United States. This place stands strong for the worst one I've ever been in. Dining area is trashed. Food and debris all over the floor and seats. The buffet area is a disaster!!! I wish you could post pictures here so someone would and could see this, what I feel is, a poor example of other Pizza Ranches. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
