I have been going here with my 5 boys (dogs) for 14.5 years. Dr. Jody is the BEST! He has taken care of all our dogs. The attention they give to our boys is just awesome. Unfortunately, we have had a bad 2017. We had to put two of our boys to sleep, both were Cocker Spaniels, Toby was 14 and Sammy was 11, he lost his battle with cancer. When we had to make those decisions Dr. Emily was so caring and sympathetic she really helped us get through the process of sending our boys to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I would strongly recommend Dr. Jody and Dr. Emily to anyone!
My Emotional Support Animals love going to Strohbehn Veterinary Clinic. My 12 year old Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog was in earlier this week for her 3 year rabies vaccination. The vet couldn't believe how healthy and friendly my Great Pyr is, she was so gentle while giving the shot the dog barely noticed. The cats never get nervous or upset going there either. The prices are the best in the CB/Omaha area and the Strohbehn family has been caring for animals in this area for generations.
Because of them my puppy died. We went there because we knew she was on the verge of death and they didn't help. They made us wait outside for 45 minutes to an hour in the heat while she was dehydrated and dying before they would even see her. And when they finally seen her they only tested her for parvo (which they claim came back negative) and didnt do anything else for her besides give her a shot for nausea. This puppy was crapping out blood, severely dehydrated, couldn't hold her head up, refuse to drink, refuse to eat, and was constantly puking. The next day after being seen by strohbehn she passed away because of their negligence to help her and save her life. I will never take another animal to them again because they don't care! I would recommend others don't take their animals there because they simply do not care whether the animals live or die.
Dr Jody and Dr Emily are amazing. Dr Jody has taken care of our family's pets for many years. His dad took excellent care of my parents' pets while he was still alive as well.
