Location was great for a 10 minute walk back from Harris after seeing a performance since traffic was a mess. The rooms were very clean, updated with a modern look. Staff was very pleasent. The breakfast was enough for a bite while you go get breakfast from another location though, but that's not why I stayed.
Our family gathered at the Days Inn in Council Bluffs, Ia. last weekend. There were around 15 of us and we were going to celebrate Christmas together as we all live in different areas of the States.
Twas just the best. I loved it, it was just so good. So much fun and so many rooms to choose from. Room service was beyond this world.
We spent one night on our return trip home from a wedding. Very clean, recently updated decor pleasing atmosphere! Staff very friendly and helpful. Biscuit's and gravy for breakfast was delicious! The only thing negative for me is I am only 5"1' and some of the heights like the bed and breakfast. Coffee counter were difficult heights. The extra tall mattress adds to the overall height of the bed. The high counter and tall coffee carafes are not a good combination for short arms. Otherwise a nice place to stay.
The front desk was "womaned" by Jessica and LaVisha. I had dealings with both of them and they were wonderful. I highly recommend this motel to others.
Not the most visible way to actually get to the hotel parking lot as it's tucked behind an abandoned building. HVAC system was a little dated as it took awhile to heat but that's understandable if it hasn't been used in awhile. Breakfast wasn't too bad, it was more than stale bagels and coffee, I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were nice. Since it wasn't busy it was fairly quiet.
