My experience working there, is how it went; You're started off at $9.00 hour. They need more attention to detail cleaning, if working there. The weekend head housekeeper, ( that was nice ), Sally, that will tell you, " you're doing good job " and put on months ahead for the work schedule. I noticed the tops of the mirrors need cleaning when walking into the room, as well as the tops of the vanity lights, some of the tops of the entertainment centers ( it looked in some rooms as if it hasn't been cleaned in years and could use a deep cleaning and updating throughout the hotel ), the windows have smoke residue from years of smoking ( as you could also see when walking into the rooms and will take a little time ), there are no benefits, and you work about three hours a day, one housekeeper cleans the bathroom and you vacuum or if you're doing beds you dust or whatever needs attention, the main floor, uses three sheets
Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Our room was big and they served completely cookies and hotdogs when we arrived and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely star there again.
( as if they're trying to be a five star hotel ) the top floor, only a few. Then you're made to feel bad since can't understand one worker that doesn't speak any English that smells heavily like she's been obviously drinking, that seems to boss you around in English, when told by the head housekeeper to do the opposite when trying to do as you're told ( and another coworker was also complaining about the treatment by this same co-worker ), the rest of the staff seemed nice, but when you confront the head housekeeper, Deb, about her slanderous comments about another co-worker, she denies she ever stated it and another co-worker that was also going along with what she was saying ( that smelled like dope ) about the same co-worker, seems pretty unprofessional. The head housekeeper's son, Nolan, seems nice that also is a supervisor, seems like he can't tell you how they do the rooms, that could help you do your job quicker, acting as if you can't understand but could communicate better with staff so you can do your job better but no big deal. The place is an old trucker, cheap motel and get what you pay for. They have a high turnover rate for a reason. The front desk guy, Alan, was very kind the time I had been there. If you like a lot of drama, this is the place to work.
The stay was nice. The outside looks a little questionable but the inside was nice. The only downside I can give is the fact that the security deposit for the room cost 25 dollars more than the 2 night cost for the room itself. Other than that it was a nice stay
Booked for a week during christmas 2017. They offered a mini fridge and microwave for free. VERY ACCOMIDATING AND POLITE STAFF. Free breakfast and night time snack. They really care about guest here. We will stay here again. Easy access to highway to get around.
Really great place for the price. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's clean and has some updates on the inside. Continental breakfast includes biscuits and gravy that is excellent. Way more TV channels than most hotels. Beds are comfy and firm, friendly staff, cookies every evening. If you want a nice, clean, affordable place, this is it.
